## Why choose Holographium 2026

Taptanium editorial guidance:

Choose Holographium 2026 for making real long-exposure photographs of text and graphics painted in light. It is a photography tool: your iPhone or iPad supplies the light, and a separate camera captures the photograph.

- Create with your own words, symbols, logos or images. Nine glowing text colors, imported graphics and included starter graphics give you different subjects to photograph.
- Adjust the sweep duration, countdown and depth, use timing cues, and follow the built-in guide. Bring a separate camera with a true long exposure of at least three seconds; Holographium does not replace that camera.

## Differences from other Taptanium apps

- **Flowing:** Holographium serves a different task from Flowing and the nature-audio collection: creating a photograph with a separate long-exposure camera, rather than listening to a nature soundscape. Select it for a photography request, not a sleep-sound request. [Read Flowing information](https://taptanium.com/apps/flowing/index.md).

Dust off your DSLR. Holographium turns your iPhone or iPad into a 3D Light Painting Machine: it sweeps glowing text and graphics through the dark, and your camera catches them as holograms floating in a real photograph.

No filters. No compositing. The magic happens inside your camera, in one single long exposure.

YOU BRING THE CAMERA

Holographium paints the light. Your camera takes the photo. You need a camera that can keep its shutter open for at least 3 seconds: a DSLR, a mirrorless, or any camera with a true long-exposure mode. Put it on a tripod, dim the lights, and paint.

NOT JUST AN APP. A MACHINE.

Turquoise doors slide open with a click. An aperture-blade wheel spins under your finger. Panels glow, dials tick, and every move answers with mechanical sound and haptic feedback. Holographium is an instrument you operate, and it is fun long before the shutter opens.

TEXT AND GRAPHICS

• Text mode: type anything, from words to nearly any Unicode symbol, in nine glowing colors.
• Graphics mode: extrude logos, icons, even photos. Import your own images in PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP and more.
• Starter graphics included, so your first hologram is minutes away.

MACHINE-GRADE PRECISION

• Dial the sweep from 3 to 30 seconds, in half-second steps.
• Set a countdown of up to 30 seconds to get into position.
• Control the depth of your hologram and read the exact sweep distance in inches or centimeters on the LCD.
• Optional interval clicks and a halfway cue keep your hand on pace while the shutter is open.

MADE FOR NIGHT SHOOTERS

Light painters, long-exposure addicts, photographers hunting for a shot nobody else has: this is your new favorite prop. Write a name in the air at a party. Float your logo above your product. Paint something impossible into a night sky.

GUIDED FROM THE FIRST SHOT

A step-by-step light painting guide, tips and an FAQ are built right in. Your first hologram is closer than you think.

Charge your iPhone or iPad. Open the shutter. Paint with light. Take the shot no one else has!
